The 2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition pays homage to the classic 70s and 80s two-tone exterior paint. Ford is celebrating the F-150 75th anniversary, and the package will be based on the F-150 XLT SuperCrew. The XLT trim combines unique interior features for the Heritage appearance package and the standard features available in the regular trim.
Exterior
The Heritage Edition will feature a two-tone exterior paint. It will be available on the four-door XLT trim. The A-B-A color scheme is like the earlier models featuring different colors in the roof and the midsection. The 2023 Heritage Edition will offer five color combinations, including Atlas Blue or Avalanche with Agate Black, Antimatter Blue, or Race Red with Carbonized Gray.
Interior
The interior of the Heritage Edition features slate gray and black accents and special inserts on the seats. The center consoles, the upper part of the windshield, and the touchscreen animation have a “75 Years” logo to commemorate the anniversary. The center console cover is embossed with “Since 1948 F-Series Heritage Edition”.
Other standard interior features on the XLT trim include an 8.0-inch touchscreen, cloth seats, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite.
Performance
Under the hood of the XLT SuperCrew is a 290 horsepower 3.3-liter V6 engine. Drivers can also choose from the four available engines, including;
- A 325-hp 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 delivering 400 pound-feet of torque
- A 400-hp 5.0 V8 engine with 410 pound-feet of torque
- A 400-hp 3.5-liter V6 developing 500 pound-feet of torque
- A 430-hp 3.5L V6 hybrid with 570 pound-feet of torque
The production of the F-150 Heritage Edition is set to start in the fall, with Ford taking orders from July. The pricing is not yet available.
